I saw Zatransis do this barbed monk and always wanted to see what I could do with one of his creations. I put my own spin on the color palette, mine is a bit more muted than his. So shout out to Zantransis keep inspiring people like me!

Wow! I checked out your site InkWerk and I really like the motion graphic promos. I watched most of them and I was really grabbed by Empyreal and Cherubs. Style of King of Hip Hop is also very attractive.

You run the site or are you a partner/artist with the studio?

Thank you! I'm one of the partners with Inkwerk studios and I actually did all of the motion graphic promos for the site. Your artwork is pretty cool as well! Inkwerk Studios is sort of a haven for independent comic creators. The theory that we pool all of our talents and knowledge to reach a bigger audience and all of that.

I'm glad that you checked out the site!

Nice! Awesome work with those motion graphics. I'm a camera operator for broadcast so I like some of the visual directions and transitions you had going on. I only started to get my hands into AE and motion graphics so work like yours is exciting to see because it was done well and, for me at least, accomplished the job of getting my attention and curiosity.
I'm looking to start in some comic work of my own but I'm contemplating whether I should start with one of my own original stories or partner with an author on something short to test the waters/chemistry. Does Inkwerk have a way of hooking up artists with authors?

Glad you liked the trailers for the books!

Hmm... I would start one of your own as it will give you the time and freedom to find your voice/art style. While we do know some authors it may take too much time to go through that process than just figuring out a simple concept and get drawing. I have a friend that draws with the same dilemma and I told him to search only for a comic script of something he likes and use that as a guideline to start out with. Its also very helpful because those scripts where turned into comics you have something to visually see how another artist interpreted the script.

I hope that helps
